um why wouldnt it be able to run 800 on pump with that much displacement and a big 8-71 blower? really shouldnt be a problem.

RE: wow
alot of things in that vid dont make sense to me 1) look around the room 2) look at the bucket in front of the air dam, he does a burn out in front of that? 2) factory cobra R's? 3) not even tubbed? 4) look at the ground behind the tire, if he did a burnout like that with that amount of power, it would fling rubber 10 ft away, the floor is still clean... but it does have a cage... i dont know its wild... the only point i was trying to make was that the odds of that motor a) runing on pump gas and b) only making 800 hp... are slim and none

RE: wow
1. the timing is backed down enough to run on pump gas 2. most 2000 horsepower motors are big blocks with ridiculously priced big chief potiac heads and a 16-71 blower. 3. we are only talking about a stroked 351w here.

RE: wow
the vid says blown 871... and Im going to say that you cant run pump on that for 99.9% of builds... unless you decided to put this ridiculously big and expensive motor in your car and put in internals planningto only hit 1/3rd of its potential

RE: wow
it looks like a show car to me, all im saying is it wouldnt be that hard to run pump gas on that motor. and that bottom end is not that expensive, they sell 408,410,438 strokers for just as much as modular shortblocks, you dont need a ridiculously expensive set of heads with a blower that big expecially if your goal is 800 horses.

woa...i just got goosebumps! tht thing is CRAZY awesome! love it...and i don't think that it is an "editing" job...its VERY possible. and that whole 837 or wht ever it said on the vid was probably a typo.
