Cams are put to their potential when they can flow properly. Get a full exhaust first, headers/midpipe/catback, then the cams will really help you out.

I was under the impression that stage 2s wernt much over stage 1s...and goin stage 2 would need to do more internals. Which is why i was lookin into stage 1 blower cams....someone clear that up for me 2 plz....?

stage 2's are like 7 morerwhp than stage 1's but with ported heads they more than out perform stage ones plus they have a great lopy idle. I'm anticipating about 50 rwhp with stage 2 heads and cams from VT.

edit: I'm making 260 now...

depends on what you considering worth while. Cams alone making 20ish rwhp would be great if you can do the install yourself, if you have to get it installed, not so cost effective, blower would be much better

I didn't see where you had upgraded your throttle body and/or plenum. If you're going to put a cam in, I would definitly look at upgrading those to a 70 or 75mm. I would go with the stage 2. Even if right now you can throw it in and put new valve springs in, you can always P&P your heads later for even more gain.

i dont think you are gonna get 25-30 rwhp with just stage 1 cams try like 20 with a tune

for the amount of money its gonna cost you i would just say screw it and get a blower or nitrous

just my 2 cents
