haha thats hilarious, start with a light car with 350 rated horsepower most likely 320 to the wheels, runs mid 13s at the strip and takes nothing to run 12s. not quick at all.

The LS_ engines are badassed. You cant really say anything otherwise. I know that. The years i was talking about "hanging with" had LT1's.

Alrighty Then....................... Yeah it looks like the 2002 vettes put out 350 HP for what I found online. I did get to drive one. It's fast!!! As for me smokin...........Hee Hee..... I am glad you noticed!! Ok so, new motor and go biggy on the Supercharger. Got it.

Hey what does 2v and 4v mean? I see that alot.

the number of valves per cylinder. GT mustangs come with 2v and the cobras/mach ones come with 4v. The 05+ GT mustangs have 3 valve engines.

ok let's see... the crossfire 350 which powered vettes in the early 80's (c3 as well as c4) put out about 220hp... GM then put in the LT-1 with 280hp which ran until 96 (i don't remember exactly) where they upgraded to the ls1 with a monsterous 350hp...

don't forget about the ZR-1's famous LT5 motor... best motor ever put in a vette other than the new LS7 and the L88 of 1967... The 427 cubic inch engine delivers 500 hp with open exhausts, and has a 12.5:1 compression ratio.



in other words... no your 96 GT will not beat an 02 c5....
