if youve got the money i would go for a 4v swap but if not you could go for a pi motor. you will always be at an advantage with the 4v though as they have heads that actually flow decent numbers. unlike the npi 2v heads that flow like a dry fart trying to escape britney spears fat a$$.

You are all terribly misinformed. First of all, C5 Vette was not made in '94. The stock '97+ C5 Corvettes all have the exact same 345 crank hp from the exact same LS1 engine. They're around 300whp stock so that's where you need to get.

well considering it's a MUSTANG forum I don't expect everyone to get the dates exactlty correct... but it's about 350 crank. 335-340 wheels.... GM trannys don't generate as much of a loss as people think.

Yes but there's a HUGE difference in the C5 97+ LS1 engine and the 96 and below LT1 engine. Anyway, go on ls1forum or any other Corvette related site and you'll see that the stock LS1s have between 295-305rwhp stock. As said in the post above, we are also heavier by 200-300lbs.

I believe 94s to 96s had the 330hp LT4.

haha thats hilarious, start with a light car with 350 rated horsepower most likely 320 to the wheels, runs mid 13s at the strip and takes nothing to run 12s. not quick at all.

Like I said in another thread recently, no wonder LS_ guys laugh at us.....[>:]
very true and very sad. too many people base a race off hp. there's too many factors. from a roll, a dig, how do they get the power, nos, supercharger all motor? where is the sweet spot of the car, and where are u racing from, and most importantly, automatic, or manual?

vettes, if you don't know, don't pull extremely hard at the beginning, but will rape u once they get going and not stop going.. realize all the parameters of your car and the car you are racing b4 you race it.
