Default 17x10.5 wheels

I've heard from a couple of people that when you put 17x10.5 wheels on a 99-04 GT that you have to take your quad shocks off for them to fit causing you to have to buy upper/lower control arms. Just trying to figure out if I'm going to have to buy control arms before I purchase the wheels.

not that I know of, I have 10.5's on mine with 315's, and I have all four shocks, all that I know of is the fenders might need to be rolled

no you dont need to remove the quad shocks, if you lower it 2.0 or more", fender rolling is a good idea

I have 315's on mine and there is plenty of room for the quad shocks.

How will it be for a 1 1/2" drop???

My drivers quarter has mud in 3/4's of the lip, so rolling it is out of the question short of replacing the quarter.

I have a 98 and they rub a little but, i heard that if they do you can just reverse them so the skinny part of the shock is where the rim and tire are. I didnt bother to do it yet because it doesnt rub that much just once in a while.
