Yeah the floor mats are being swapped for the ones with a cobra on them and those are fake hood pins which are also coming off of the car.

Congrats on the purchase man... you really seemed like you got a steal on that.

So what are your plans for the car? These cars have alot of potential and can do alot of things very well. I have recently changed my mind about what direction I want to do with my car... but I won't do it on your thread, that will be given away in a week or so.

I would honestly get the car to a dyno soon just to get things checked over. Trust me, its worth the money to know how well your car is doing. I too think its been demodded some because most people wont take the pulley cover off for the stock pulley.

I tend to think it has been demodded too. I plan on dynoing it in the next week or two to see what's going on. My plans are basic mods for nowwith moderate track duty and car shows. I actually just love the car for what it is. Eventually it will get an S/C upgrade but I want to get used to the car first and appreciate the horsepower it already has to offer.

Good deal, seat time is very important as these cars are quite a bit different than the GT's. At the track, its like trying to learn a completely different animal. Launching takes some time, but with some practice... you can still get really good times on the IRS.

Does the car have any subframe connectors or springs? It looks like it has a stock ride height to me. Also, think about getting an irs brace for the car... you'll thank me later. Throw on some good tires, and your easily in the 12's with these cars.

It gets pretty expensive to upgrade to a whipple or KB, because you have quite a few supporting mods that have to go with them. Don't forget that if you can throw that kind of cash around, you can always go with a Steigmeier port job on your Eaton and with the right pulley setup, you will easily be over 500rwhp. Just some food for thought.

The plan has always been for around 500-525 rwhp. I was reading up about it and pretty much right around that hp the fuel system gets maxed out so I most definitely intend to upgrade it. From my guess definitely no springs in it and there was definitely no SF connectors. I do plan on getting a brace for the car to go along with new bushings and at some point the SF connectors. Definitely new tires this winter since it's coming with crappy sumitomo's. Maybe some KDW's for the front and MT ET DR's for the back. Speaking of those, how do you like the wear on them? Still kind of torn between those and the nitto's.

Whats up man....I was talking to your buddy John online and he said you were lined up to get a cobra. Congrats...sounds like a great deal. Too bad winter is coming...we will have to meet up again and head to NED next spring so that I can go for a ride and be convinced to just shell out the cash for a cobra instead of messing with my GT. I cant believe you guys both have different cars now....good for you guys. Let me know how you like it compared to the GT.

Yeah I'll definitely let you know about and you're more than welcome to come for a blast in it in the spring so you can see what it's like. I plan to have a couple more mods done to it so it should be a good time.
