that was in the original post...
yes you do need the disconnect tool, when i did mine i boought a set with a few different sizes at autozone. good luck and watch the lil drippage when u disconnect, it will come from filter.
ok I just did it, Its really really easy.
1. First open your hood and look in the driver side fuel rail. There is a little purge needle, It should have a black cap on it. Kinda looks like a valve stem cap. Take it off and release the pressure.
2. Then just jack up the back of the car and slide under. The filter is right infront of the tank. There will be two small plastic clips that hold the lines on to the filter and one big clamp that holds the filter.
3. Release all of them and just plug in your new filter. Tip There is a bracket that is holding the clamp which holds the filter. Take one of the bolts out of the bracket. This will let it swing down so you can get at the plastic clips. I believe its an 8 mm.
4. Make sure that the new filter is going the right way and there you go, your all done. It shouldnt take more than 30 minuets.
Oh I would have a small fan blow where your lying down. It will keep the fumes from gettin to ya. And a few rags and good to have too.
Good luck!
oh and you dont need the tool. You'll see when your under there.

I would recommend the tool/plug/clamp set, rent it from autozone, it minimizes fuel spray when you disconnect the lines.
I dunno if this does anything but as a safety precaution when I did it I left my starter on the acc on position for an extra 30 secs before starting.
