Alright thanks guys!!!!!! im trying to hop on it... i am in a bad situation. i wasnt allowed to sell my 6er til Feb when i turned 18 but this deal came up so fast. i knew the kid was going to sell it but i didnt know he was going to sell it before winter. i just need to borrow some $$ from the parents than once my car gets sold pay them back.. my mom seems to be siding with me besdies the fact of "if you get this car i cant drive it bc i dont know how to drive a stick and i dont wanna know"

17/25mpg isnt really bad at all. thats probably what i get now.. my gas mileage sucks

btw, the 99/01 are 5 spd right??

idk any good responses to give them, all i say is "i wanted my 6er to be a manual and you didnt allow for that to happen... some people just like driving a stick and i seem to be one of those people... im bored of an auto... you have more control of a manual car" haha... wish me luck guyss

Uhhhh, by just having cobra badges doesn't mean it is a cobra.......that deal doesn't sound right. All I am saying is check everything out.

haha i don't knowbuddy you better try and sell your car first, you don't want to end up having 2 cars and no money to pay for one if you can't sell the 6er for a longer while than you think, if at all

it doesnt seem right but its a friends car... ill have everything checked out before i buy it IF i am allowed to get it... im not going to go into details but there are a couple reasons he is selling it so low..

he was going to trade it in and get a truck, but my sis' bf told him he'd not get nearly enough from a dealer... so basically this is my chance... there are other personal reasons but im not going to say them bc i feel bad

and yeah, im going to be in trouble having 2 cars and being 17-18yrs old having to pay the difference in insurance.... but once the 6er gets sold all will be good i hope

It's a good deal, but not that unbelievable. I got my 99 w/56,xxx miles from a stealership for 12k almost 6 months ago. I would expect to get a better deal from a friend. Just check it out and run a carfax report. You are going to love the upgrade in power.

might go to meet the guy and get a test drive tomorrow...

im practicing driving a stick on my friends GT tongiht a little bit..i know how to drive one, but i cant get a perfect start. like 1 outta 5 starts are perfect. i dont wanna look like a fool when this guy lets me drive his cobra

something must be wrong and you should deff borrow the money if you wont be able to sell the v6 u can always sell the cobra for at least 15k i think
