Default Mach 1000 problem.......

Ok ill get straight too it.

It has NEVER given me a problem until yesterday. I was not inserting or taking a CD out. I had not even touched the raido.

But i turned on my car and noticed it read CD ERROR. My radio worked fine but as i tried to listen to a CD it gave me the CD ERROR.

You know how when your 6 disc is switching between CDs you can hear it working? I dont even hear it anymore. Waht could it be? Could it have randomly went out?

If i disconnected the battery for a bit could it reset it?

My car only has 40k miles so its not like it has been used an awfull lot....

Considering the mass amount of people that flock to the audio section... I highly doubt it.

It was Just a thought. Unplug you Bat for a few minutes, it's worth a try. Amount of miles on a car doesn't mean crap anymore when it comes to electronics. Either your luck or your not. Good luck...

Negative comes off first, always. And it goes on last, always.

Check to see if a CD is lodged inside. If your lucky your CD door should be open and you should be able to see a CD kind of stuck in there. It's happened to me plenty times and had to use another CD to encourage it to come out. If not then time for a new system.
