I have some random 40 series... The mufflers themselves aren't labeled, and that's the only mod the last onwer did to my car (cat-back). It sounds like sex with the O/R prochamber... all too often I hear "that's the best sounding car I've heard"

It has a beautiful tone, is quiet (but extremely deep) below 2000 RPM so it maintains some manners when I want it to, but when I go WOT EVERYONE around knows it About the best of all worlds. So my vote goes to the original 40s.
Thanks for the feedback man, and I agree that O/R Prochamber with Flows is the best sounding thing out there on these cars. Part of me says go with the 44s but the other part says go with the original 40s,.. can't go wrong with a classic! We'll see, I'm still undecided.

hmm. i dunno I like the sound of the orig 40s, the super 40s are a bit deeper IMO but the orig 40 sound more aggressive to me.

I'm looking for more of the cleaner tinnier Flowmaster sound. I think deepness won't be a problem because of the Prochamber which essentially is an H pipe.

Original 40s in the lead!

Clean???

DFs FTW! lol Can't wait to hear it dude!!
I'm putting my exhaust install funding association on hold to get some new tires and possible 1" wider Mach wheels, which is pushing it but I found a pretty good deal!

Sup DOodood? Now have you heard the Deltas in person? I know from the clip we heard it sounds nice, but I'm wondering if IRL it sounds different. Check out this clip of Prochamber w/ 40s : http://youtube.com/watch?v=XBt5xs7lF20
Sounds great!!! But yeah I think the Deltas may be cleaner. Those 40s are really raw.

Here is a clip of delta flow 40s and Prochamber :

Yeah overall I really like the sound of the DFs from the CLIPS.
VERY clean sounding while still getting that amazing hollow/tinny sound.

Do you want to just give me your credit card number and I'll buythe mufflers for you but won't tell you which ones andyou can find out what you got when they get to your door? lol

I heard Flows all around town just not sure which Flows they are lol

i'd personally pick the original 40's but new 44's are cool.

deltaflow 40's are like alot quieter... and if your into that kinda thing then sure...

Yeah but clip quality is different. The Deltas do sound cleaner, Hmm f*ck I don't know anymore.
I just hope getting the mufflers itself fixes the buzzing/tinging problem. Maybe I should just get the whole American Thunder catback. My problem sounds more in the pipes between the muffler and Prochamber.

Found the American Thunder catback with the Flowmaster 40 series Delta Flow mufflers! Says it's for '03 Mach 1, but I'm sure it will fit my '03 GT.
