Which is better 04 Cobra or 08 GT
my buddy has a 03 with a whipple on it and there is another guy crusing around in his whifes 03 black cobra vert both with whipples and meth and they push 25lbs on everything stock other than the blower. no head lift problems or anything. thats why i said 25-30lbs. there both making close to 635-650 at the wheels.
03/04 cobra ftw. u could probly get a 03/04 cobra for just as much or cheeper then a 08 gt. the cobra will hold a lot more power then the 08. my friend had one and had just a midpipe, catback, intakeand a kenne bell and was makin 630 at the wheels. you would have to build a 08gt to make thoes kind of numbers. plus its just cobra, i mean who dosnt want a friggen cobra!

3v>4v no matter how you slice it
The only advantage is the termi already has a blower on it and a 6-speed. But id still take the 08 all day long before the termi. Bolt on blown 3v's are making 500+ rwhp all day long. Take an 01 cobra and put the same amount of boost on it with the same blower and it will not respond as well.

and mine seems to respond pretty good to mods ~310rwhp without lt's yet, sounds damn good to me. show me a 3v that would do that
a bigger cam profile takes care of the variable valve timing improvement made for that year. all the variable valve timing does is give you a hotter cam higher in the rpms so you can have fuel mileage and streetability down low.
03-04 cobra>new gt
even if cost is equal you can throw a kb on a gt and make 450rwhp or you can throw a kb on a cobra and make 600+ and it will be more reliable then the gt still since the internals can handle it. Plus you get a t56 and suede seats
If you plan to mod you car it would be retarted to get a new gt. A terminator is a much better platform. with a ported blower and basic bolt ons youll be in the 500rwhp club i no time.
