Default drag brakes

Whats a good upgrade for the brakes for drag racing. Ive got some cheap drilled and slotted rotors and hawk pads, but they squeel like a biatch. I would do the cobra upgrade, but I wanna be able to fit 15s for slicks and skinnies

If you are wanting a drag race setup then then just upgrade the brake lines to steel braided, upgrade the calipers but don't change the rotor size. Less rotational mass the better.

get rid of the crap slotted/drilled rotors and get a blank rotor, upgrade the brake lines and get some synth brake fluid. your not gonna find great brakes for 15" rims, but I would recommend maybe a mach1 brake kit with a spacer to allow your rims to fit.

You just got to look around for for better calipers. Like more pistons more clamping force. I haven't gotten to upgrading my breaks yet so I dont have the parts list yet but I know basicly what I want.

upgraded brakes kits are a joke on a street car. i saw in a magazine where they put a 1800 dollar wilwood brake kit on a 06 gto and it cut down the braking by 1.5 feet. thats ridiculous for 1800 bux. if i were you i would switch back to a solid rotor and other than that stick with what you got exspecially if your gonna be running 15s.

LOL no there is actually a brake section in that list of all the places to buy brake parts I just haven't decided what I want yet. And now the price has gone up for that comment.
