that is just a gimmick, turbos are all you will ever need .. and maybe some go juice

 

the concept is there to make an awesome setup. low rpm smack of the s/c and the efficiency of the twins. the idea hellion wanted to get across is with the blower, you will have moretorque but not as much hp. but with just the twins, you will have all the hp you want but will sacrifice low end or any torque for that matter. with dohc motors especially. with just the twins, you wouldnt get near that torque number but would probably get in the 1200's hp.

 

go to hp's website, they will disprove your theory on turbos not making torque. aturbo and a supercharger is retarded, most peoples choice of turbo over supercharger is to provide boost without the parasitic loss of the supercharger. in the setup why in the world would you just not remove the supercharger and adjust the wastegates to compensate the boost loss.

 

I know turbos make torque. but at what rpm and do they hold it???superchargers peak torque pretty quick and hold itand the graph is more linear. Turbos peak torque quick but the graphed line on a dyno shows that it isnt linear and it doesnt hold the torque the whole way through the rpm range and drops off as the rpms go up.

 

Not saying that im a s/c guy cause turbos IMO are better. Just when combined with a s/c would be insane.

if you are going for a sleeper turbo setup, then just buy an STS turbo kit. they sound sick and perform pretty well.

good luck getting them off in a hurry. and besides, unless someone knows you have it, they wont know to steal it and i havent heard of anything about them being stolen or anything.
