What's an estimate for a new tranny? I saw this 02gt 70xx miles for 3k$, only thing wrong (that was posted) was that it was stuck in reverse. Just wondering on prices before I even bother to check the car out.

Did you test drive it yet?
That would be pretty exciting. If there was nothing else wrong with it, I'd buy it and replace the tranny. However, there must be a good reason the car is stuck in reverse.
