Back in the day, the ultimate in customizing was chopping the top. That meant cutting off the roof and cutting the posts so it would be lower when welded back on. On modern cars its almost impossible because of the curved and tempered side glass. Older cars had flat glass which was easily cut to fit the new profile.

It looks like you did a real good job..nice work. It needs something though....I think better wheels, blacked out windows, and something else...cant put my finger on it though.

But from the looks of the work..I'd hire you to do a targa top lol.

i like, i agree with it needs some work with chin spoiler, cowl hood and different spoiler and some of the other things that were already mentioned, but thats a great job well done, real clean. I also think louvers would look dumb because the angle that the window is now is so different that they would just stick up and look weird.

Thanks for the feedback guys, I appreciate it and I'm glad most of you think it looks good. I know I could add some stuff to the car to make it look better, but my objective was the chop top, and I wanted that to be the main point of interest instead of bolt on accessories or different color schemes.

I like it, looks real old school with the lower, smoother lines.

Congrats on doing something so original.
