royal purple....

idk if you can change it in drive way, i watched the guy change out my whole differentail and i didnt see a drain plug on the stockgirdle and it was MESSY when they took off the girdle. Now if you replace it with a aftermarket girdle that has a drain hold and fill hole it should be easy i guess

Yes you can do it in your driveway! I would get synthetic and make sure you get Friction modifier. Here's a tip....Put a large piece of carboard underneath the car before you begin working. I love cardboard as it soaks up spills and you can wipe off oil without making a mes of the driveway or garage floor. A cheap plasticdrain pan from parts store is like $4, just make sure you get a big enough one, like 6-7qt or make sure it's wide enough to catch everything. You will need 2 bottles of Diff fluid and 1 bottle of Modifier. Use only half the larger tube or all of the smaller tube of modifier and don't overfill the diff. I also bought a nice siphon for $15. It looks likt a bike pump and works great, don't buy a cheapo plastic one, they suck. This will help you putting more fluid in the rear end than on the floor...lol I would say that's the hardest part of the whole job. ALSO, I would reccomend Permatex gasket sealant. It's in a self dispensing can. Like a little bottle of spray paint with a silicone rtv type tip. You could use generic rtv black sealant, but the permatex bottle is worth every penny of $10.
