Default MMR Street MOD 600?

Hey guys, im lokin at the MMR street mod 600 short blockfor downthe line and was wondering a couple things. First of all, I have Patriot Stage 2 heads and VT stage 2 cams, and the HPS Hardballr intake. I know that the limits of the stock shortblock hold back the potential of the intake and especially the cams. What im wondering is that even though it holds up to 600 hp, will it be able to spin high enough (im thinkin 6500-7000rpm) to really wake the top end up? Or do I need to get everything forged? Thanks for the help...

why not get a mod 900 or 1100?

spend a little more cash!

everyone thinks they have enough power. till 600 isint enough then start wanting 700 or 800 or 1000+

well they have the forged crank as an option for 250.00, so im thinkin I would do that cause the pistons are forged and im pretty sure the rods are...just wanna be able to spin this thing high enough to use all the parts that I spent a lot of time and money installing...

detonation and torque are harmful to engine components, but so are really high piston speeds. if i were you id spend the extra coin and get a forged crank.

well, im not spending money on a 900 or 1100 cause im not doing anything crazy. Im staying N/A with no juice and will not need anything over 600 hp. So its not a matter if ill have enough strength hp wise, im concerned about how high I can rev the engine. Seems pointless to get the basic 600 if it wont rev any higher then the stock bottom end. So if I get the forged crank (which I would anyways) I just wanted to know if it will spin high enough to let the cams, intake, heads, etc do their thing...I just want a bottom end with somegood compression that will turn some decent rpms....
