linelock is the easiest method but yeah you just rev it high dump the clutch & press the brake enough so the car doesnt move

I simply put my right heel on the brake, right toes on the throttle, left foot on the clutch. push gas and brake witht he clutch just at the release point and slowly add power to either brakes or throttle as needed to stay in one spot as the clutch is let out. I can hold this in first, run up to 5500 stomp the clutch and jam it in second and rev the doo-doo outta it in second.

Yes it is hard on the brakes. Oh well, Im currently saving up for a brake upgrade anyway, and once I get it a line lock will be a part of it.
