cant find lug nut key?!? how to get wheel off
i need help ASAP! like within 15hrs. I cant seem to find the key for the one lug nut...any ideas how to take it off other then spend money to take it to a shop...?? HELP!!!
If for some reason you REALLY need to get that wheel off you could drill out the stud that has the wheel lock on it and just replace it later. But i would probablly try some other options first.
BTW: nice setup, how long have you had the KB on there?

Any competent shop will have tapered sockets that can be hammered onto the lugnut in question. Hit it with the impact wrench and off it comes. I've had to do it more than a few times on customer's cars.
EDIT - Oh. you don't want to spend money. Okay. Find a socket that is one size too small to fit over the lugnet. Get yourself a hammer and pound that thing on there. Remove with impact wrench or a long ratchet.

Does that really work? I feel like if i did that i would just strip out the bolt and have a broken socket.
Edit: but it is a way better option than my dumb S%^* idea

I just had this problem a few weeks ago while trying to fix my carrier. It took me about 5 mins to get them off. Just get a 12 point socket one size too small and beat that b!tch on with a hammer. Then take it off and beat the lug nut out with a hammer and punch.
