thats what I was thinking myself, but I thought the location of the gash wouldleave some permanent damage...Also I was worried if the weld job isnt done right id get some sort of exhaust leak...

 

well the welding quality issue is easily solved: If you know how to weld, pay close attention. If you pay someone to weld it, find someone who knows what the hell they're doing and can garuntee their work.

As far as it being worth it to buy the exhaust system, that depends. How much are they selling it for?

 

i agree its repairable. if your hany witha mig welder and a hammer

 

just cut off the muffler and replace with a new one.

 

Its fixable just get it welded back up. How much do they want for the system?

 

seeing as its a bassani system and seeing as its damaged, i wouldnt pay more than $150 for it....

 

Are they made in China also??. Everything that comes from there has that qc-passed sticker on it.
