Default rear defroster fixable?

hey my rear defroster on my 94 isnt working so well. You know the 2 things on either side of the back windshield that defrost the glass? well the driver side one detached itself and it puts a damper on how much i can defrost! bad thing! is that fixable?

so besides what you call only a temporary fix, there is no way of correcting it permanantly? that is without havin to take it to Ford.

You wont need to replace the back window, You can get a resolider kit to fix the break in the defroster metal thats in the glass, I think the kit is only $10
