i want to lower my car, but i live in NY where there is alot of speed bumps and potholes. Would you recommend the eibachs or H&R? also, what supporting mods would i need to lower my car? I heard all i need is shocks because my stock shocks will blow out eventually? What else do i need and an average cost of everything for lowering? Does anysite make a packaged deal with everything needed to lower?
bump on what else i need? ill probably go with the H&Rs since everyone likes those better, but need to know what else i need and how much its gonna run me and where to buy it? american muscle has bilstein shocks and struts for like 575 which i think is too expensive for me? any other recommendations

you dont HAVE to replace the shocks and struts when you lower, just a good idea, you will needa CC plates though

You may get away with it for a little while, but after 5,000 miles my struts were shot.

I say stay away from Eibach because I hate mine (too soft and an uneven drop) and everyone I know switched to H&R andwere much happier. Better quality control and R&D.

Decided on the ford "B" springs, from stangsuspension.com. theyre the same thing as the c springs but theyre progressive rate.
