Here's a few for those that always think Camaro's are so godly, and unstoppable. Just like Mustangs some drivers can pull some really good times, and others just suck! According to these runs a stock new edge with an excellent driver could be a drivers race for an LS1. Enjoy Camaro fanboys

So next is going to come all of the excuses....bad driver mod blah blah blah. Well must be a ton of bad drivers because that wasn't just one example, that was quite a few. So next time someone in a modded New Edge claims to have beaten an LS1, get off your high horse! Camaro's are not invincible!!

Apparently you didn't read my post with all of the coinciding links to their anything but stellar 1/4 mile runs. Sure that doesn't mean every stock LS1 I run across will run that slow, but it does mean there's a greater chance than previously thought. It wasn't just one run, it was many runs. Some as slow as low 14's!!

As I said everyone will probably say driver mod blah blah blah. But truth be told races usually always boil down to the driver mod. So I never understood that excuse. I've seen vette's running 14's when they should've been running 12's. I beat people with my truck that should have destroyed me.

What's my point to all of this? My point is Camaro's aren't so godly, and untouchable as everyone thinks. It's just like any other car.....a good driver can pull good times, and a bad driver can get embarrased pretty badly.

As I said I'll be LS1 hunting, and being I'm a good driver (0.00 R/T a few times now) I think I'll be able to take em!

 

Full bolt-ons, gears, dr's, and a 125 shot and you'll be able to beat stock and lightly modded ls1's. And remember this, there's nothing wrong with losing to a car that is already supposed to be faster than yours. It's when you surprise them and beat them that makes it all the more special.
