this chip holds 4 tunes right? and how do i install it and how hard is it to setup switched to flip between tunes? i mean....im going to get a 93 octane max gains tune and always use it, i never plan to use an economy tune....but i would like a valet mode.... someone just explain how this thing works please or if i would be better off with an xcal

You can get everything you need from AM. And they come with instructions. When you take out Your ECU make sure you clean all your coppers. If you don't have Chip board acid cleaner then use a pencil eraser to erase all the dirties off the copper connections. All and all it should take you about an hour to clean and mount everything.
Personally I like the programmer better. I had a Superchips chip on my Focus ZX3 a few years ago. I didn't like the fact that I had to mess with the computer board in order to mount it. It said right on the directions that it's possible to screw up the board. Luckily I was fine, but in my opinion a programmer is much safer.
Don't get me wrong a chip might save you money, and is perfectly safe if you install it right. But I think I'll always opt for the programmer from this point out as long as it's available for whatever car I own.
