why do people keep saying you only need cats if your state requires them? No matter what state you're in,federal law requires cats if they came on the carfrom the factory. Back the question,I had amrt catted h with lm2's and it wasa hair to quiet but had a great sound. I've heard lm2's with an o/r in person and itwas too friggin loud and soundedlike shaznat.

I have a O/R x and SLP LM II's and it sounds mean. I would go with an O/R x since u have SLP's

I wouldnt worry too much about emissions either. I passed inspection with no cats with no problems and thats a NY inspection too. As long as you have the MIL eliminators so the check engine light isnt on. you should be fine.

Well I would assume so, or at least almost the same, because all o/r H pipes are are just a 2.5 inch mandrel bent piece of pipe, not much more to it.
