Lt's are not really worth the hassle IMO as I've stated numerous times before. Shortys give decent power and are more streetable.
Do you have long TUbes??

Not Streetable? my car is lowered and im 6'3 300lbs, I dont have problems. My LT"S have NVR Scrapped the ground. My Mid pipe scrapes SOMETIMES(Over Speedbumps when im NOT paying Attention)

wow! I just removed my LTs this weekend, anyone who says they are a PITA over shorties has never even attempted to put either of them on, they are both kind of a PITA. Even if you dont remove the k member to install shorties, have fun getting easy access to the nuts and bolts. You will be reaching around everything and it the k member is still in your way. If you remove the k member you can sit right in front of the heads and have all the access the headers will allow you. ITS NOT THAT HARD OF AN INSTALL

I had LT's on past cars. My car was lowered 1.5" and they scraped almost everywhere.

With longtubes it goes either way as far as the 'lowered/scraping' goes. Depends on the brand of headers as some have some different curves here and there.[&:]

that is my biggest fear... im about to lower my car 2" and i REALLY want long tubes just because i think A. they look bad ***, B. sound a lil better, C. a couple extra ponies (every lil bit counts) buuuut are they worth the hassle? scraping, puttin them on (i see ghostrider has no prob.) changing the clutch in the future? are those PITA's worth the couple extra ponies????
