that is my biggest fear... im about to lower my car 2" and i REALLY want long tubes just because i think A. they look bad ***, B. sound a lil better, C. a couple extra ponies (every lil bit counts) buuuut are they worth the hassle? scraping, puttin them on (i see ghostrider has no prob.) changing the clutch in the future? are those PITA's worth the couple extra ponies????
BBK LTs will get in the way of a clutch change. You have to loosen one of the headers.

just the right header, if you get flowtech or MAC, you dont have worry about anything, and they are cake to put on. I have a 2" drop tmas with BBK LTs and have not scraped them at all. I also have 18's so thats an extra .5" of ground clearance

since you have 17's, I would not do more than a 1.5" drop for LTs. Houston roads are horrible, but I mostly drive out in the NW(Cypress) area, so they are not THAT bad
