Default speedcal

ok so ive been using search and looking up speedcal install questions, i plan to get one soon....everyone says they splice into the cig lighter, so does the cig lighter still work? just splice all 3 ends together or what?

i hope it's not just the cig lighter, i'm taking mine into the shop this thursday to have my speedo done(i got the speedcal) and my lighter doesn't work so that wouldn't be good!

ouch...yea it hooked into the cig lighter for power is what it seems like....maybe you just blew a fuse

well i may be able to use the cell phone charger thing instead, i never checked for a blown fuse, I'll have to do that sometime..

yeah, the fuse is like right under it or something right? I just never worried to much since I never had any use for the lighter but now may be a good time.

unbkess your getting a speedcal for real cheap..get a tuner off ebay.. i got my superchips max micro tuner for 150.. thats like 50 bucks over the speedcal price new(i think) and i get a whole diff level of things i can do with it. just my .02 i was gonna get a speedcal but there is too many deals to be had on ebay to let pass by

ill look into a cheap tuner then... but still leanin on a speedcal for the price...and the fuse is right under your steering wheel sorta... theres tons of them you will have to look in your manual to see which is for the cig lighter, or ask someone, or pull every fuse and look at it to see if its broken or not... and they're 03/04 cobra replicas
