I bought ebay lights and I guess I got lucky. I got them 2 years ago for $138 shipped. They are two bulbs per side halo projectors. They have a cast aluminum back and a glass front to them. They are sealed up perfect and haven't had any troubles at all. Galss is great, I put ammonia on there and it just dissolves the bug juice. Plastic will turn yellow from glass cleaner. These are 96-98 lights btw. I'll try to figure out whare I got them. Also my lights are super bright!!! You just have to be careful with putting brighter bulbs in them. Most aftermarket lights cannot handle HID kits because they are junk!

 

use carnuba paste wax..I worked at a dealership and thats what we used on them when they come off the truck

 

so just put that on em everytime i wash and they wont peel?

 

Please explain what exactly peels on these lights??? I've got a set of eBay smoked head lights on my '99 and I see nothing on them that looks like it will peel...?....

As far as I know, the smoked head lights are not actually a smoked lens, it just refers to the black painted inside houseing VS. the silver lined ones, but the lens are not smoked in any way with a tint on them.
