Default Firewall clutch adjustment???

Ive got one installed by the previous owner, and im not familiar with how to adjust it! Its got a blue **** on the firewall and i think it needs adjustment. The clutch feels tight at the top and theirs no play in it when i put the weight of my foot on the pedal ( no free play). If this isnt normal, which way do i turn it to properly adjust it???

It has normal threaded screws. if you turn it right you will be tigthening the cable as it gets pulled on taking slack out of the pedal. If you turn it counter clockwise then you loosen the cable from the pedal. I have one and still haven't found a place where I like my pedal. It's a PIA to be perfectly honest. I hate the whole cable set-up. Why can't we have slave cylinders like the camaro boys that adjust itself???
The cable canot be too tight or the throwout bearing will be riding the clutch forks. You really need two people. Get in and play with your pedal while someone screws the firewall adjuster. I would have to say unscrew it like 5 turns and start to tighten it and stop when you have 1/2" of pedal play. I say unscrew because you need to know where you are at!
