Ok guys, so my old 2000 mustang had a t45, and it shifter altirhgt till i put rp sychromax in it and it made it much better.., now i have a new stang, an 03.. the 1/2 clunk is killing me... What the best fluid i could use to some what make the situation better.... the car has 45,000 miles on it , with original transmission fluid.[/align]

 

Wow man, you DEF downgraded tranny's there. Sorry to hear about that

I would say put synchromesh in there and see. It won't hurt anything, and it cost what? $15?

 

I swapped my fluid for Ams Oils tranny fluid.

 

defenitely go with all synchromesh, the Penzoil stuff works just fine as well.

synchromax is the royal purple.. synchromesh is the penzoil..

I'm runnin the RP in mine.. no issues yet, its only been a day though!

 

ive heard good and bad about Synchromesh. some people love it and some hate it. but anyway i am going to change mine tomarrow with 3.2 qts of Synchromesh. ill let you know how it goes.

 

yeah if im going to change it out for something special I want to use what might actually make a difference, let us know
