Default Battery?

So my battery has died several times on me recently. I am pretty sure that it still has the stock battery in it. I am not exactly sure that its my battery but it seems like it. Almost every time I start my car, the gauges reset and I can't have the radio on with the car off for more than 15 minutes. I was hoping for some input on the matter. Furthermore, what battery should I get as a replacement. There are many different types out there and what do you all recommend. I am no expert on car batteries but I have heard good things about Optima. Are they really worth it? $180 seems quite a bit when other batteries sell for $70. Thanks.

You can to pepboys or somewhere like that and test your battery just to make sure. But it does sounds like the problem

So it doesn't really matter what brand? Cause I know the Optimas are supposed to be pretty light weight ya?

Optima Red Top! I had the same symptoms you did and replaced it with an Optima battery. Now she cranks like a champ!

I paid $119 at Costco!
