this is one of the things on my car that I have gone back and forth on more than a fat kid at a buffet. First I was gonna do huge susension packages that would run me upwards of 3 grand but now I think I will just get springs, control arms, SFC, cc plates, shocks and struts, and some other stuff up front that helps adjust everything. I am going with more of a drag race setup and was looking at KYB shocks and struts but this is directly from stangsuspension; "StangSuspension recommends KYB shocks and struts for OEM replacement purposes. They are not designed for higher spring rate lowering springs or racing applications." I thought adjustables were good for racing?? now about springs would these be a good drag spring?? http://stangsuspension.com/store/com...?idproduct=968 and if someone could school me on spring ratings and what they mean that would be great.

 

There are still suspension packages that you can get that are not as comprehensive as the 3k+ kits. Some sites will allow you to buy a kit and then 'build' it up with parts that you want or take out the parts that you already have to make the kit cheaper or more expensive.

 

I know that but I figured I will just get a couple things since I won't have that kind of money anytime soon (college kid here) so I will get the things I will notice a difference. I want to know if I got the H&R super race springs if that would help in the 1/4 or is it mostly for autox? I would consider the eibach drag launch springs but I"heard"they don't really lower the car and I need that BAD!!!! Maybe someone out there does have them, did it lower the car much?? BUMP about the shocks and struts.
