how hard is this to install, i asked someone if i could get a shift light without the huge tach and they said no

how hard is it to install? im guessing you have to take the whole dash apart and all? Im going to look for an install guide now

Raptor FTW. its pretty inexpensive, its a good quailty unit, it works every time, and its super bright.

You do NOT have to take the dash apart or anything crazy like that. I installed mine on the center top of the speedometer bezel (actually blocks the brights icon on the dash, so I would postion yours off to the side a bit). The bezel comes out with 2 bolts, and then I took a clothes hanger, straightened it out, and snaked it to the area the speedometer cluster sits at, taped the wire to it, and pulled it thru down to the ECU box.

I don't think i had more than an hour in the install if that.

I was looking at this one...it only $35 and it claims you dont need a pill or an adapter or anything...

...otherwise im getting the raptor

yeah jason (FR500GT) had one of these or similar and it was pretty bulky compared to the raptor, if you want something small and just has the purpose of only a shift light, raptor is the way to go.

and heres what someone did with their raptor shift light :] i thought it was pretty cool if you plan on keeping your clock
