I'd definately do LT's if I could find a brand that I didn't have to remove one to get the tranny out.
Hooker and FlowTech to name a couple. I have the FlowTech , decent headers for the $. My trans has been out twice since....no problems[8D]

I jsut sold my MAC longtubes 2 weeks ago. I couldn't man-up and spend $600+ for install/tune so I gave in an sold them. Plus I'm glad because with MAC, you have to drop the headers (or at least the passenger side, I think) to do any transmission work.

I'll go with longtubes again later down the road, maybe some Flowtechs, Hooker, or Kooks.

Yeah, on that subject, do I need to get a tune if I do the Mac ceramic LT's, new catted X pipe and catback all at once? I didn't think I did, but if I do it would be nice to know

And when you did it, did you take the motor mounts off or just loosen them? I was thinking of putting some better bushings in there since I'm already at them when I do the LT's. If I don't need to take them off, though, I will probably not do that.

man you got to get more adventurous! The long tube install is really nothing, just time and you can do it yourself pretty easily, just find somebody in your area for some help, like a buddy or something (no special knowledge needed), just patience and little gumption, you can do it, and youll kick yourself when your done for ever considering paying 600 bucks in labor
