Default engine skips

01 Mustang GT no codes It only skips when the engine is at operating temperature and when car is cruising skipping is very sensitive to throttle add more or less it goes away
4.6 l 2001 I get no codes when engine is cold it runs great when it get up to temp it and when at a steady speed like 45 55 65 mph it feels like it is trying to shift in and out of overdrive but it does it even when OD is off. 01/21/08 just changed all the plugs ran good utill egine warmed up

Default RE: engine skips

It could be your aod transmission, i had an auto mustang 4.6 and i didnt like the way it felt shifting!! may or may not be whats wrong with your car?? Id say rev the engine in park or neutral, see if the engine skips in normal oper. temps. and if not its probably something to do with your trans.
