get a buddy have him push the gas pedal while you are under the car then you should hear it if its exhaust. mine made a rapid sounding noise only when driving sounded like exhaust hitting frame but shop said my t-45 needed a rebuild input and output shafts had way too much play. noise was drive line going outa wack when getting on it

 

im not professional but it sounds like an exhaust leak. if you can hear it real bad when you accelerate.. can you hear any fo this "strange" noise when its just idling?

seriously though, itseems like a pertty bad leak if it sounds like a subaru. my guess is the pass. side manifold to midpipe connection

 

its like right under the car......like were the cats are....when i accelerate it makes the rumbly noise louder....i am going to take it to the exhaust shopto see what thy tell me..... still any suggestions?
