Default short blocks?

i asked this in a thread yesterday but i think it got buried under some more active topics, so hopefully i can get some help here. i'm looking to build a new motor for my car (2002 GT), and rather than break my motor down, take it to the machine shop, then reassemble it (too long for me to go without a car), i think i'd rather go the short-block route. i'm new here and i haven't really bought a whole lot of mods for my car (most of them i got from AmericanMuscle.com and they don't do shortblocks), so does anyone have any advice on where i can get a good shortblock? i've seen ads for DSS Racing Engines in some magazines, but i don't know what their reputation is like. i'm looking to do a forged rotating assembly so i can put a Procharger centrifugal supercharger on it, and i will probably go with some aftermarket heads (if there is an aftermarket for heads) and cams (i've got some stage 1s in the mail right now, but will probably go with some blower cams for the rebuild). can anyone point me in the right direction? thanks.

Default RE: short blocks?

MMR do a google search for them. one of the better options for shortblocks around for the 4.6

they run like 2k and damn near bullet proof.
