i think the paint is fine...i didnt even know what you "swapped" until they mentioned the bumper a few posts up...looks killer!

 

I never really liked the 01 bumper. It looked identical to the gt one to me. But im kinda sold on it now. Some guys selling one for 350. Is that a good deal? I dont know if it would look good with a cowl hood because thats what id want for sure, or the 2000 Cobra hood. Isnt an 03 bumper like 350? Pretty much the same price isnt it?

 

Is your paint cod E9? If so, it's a 3-stage. That color fades out over time and it won't match.

 

yes.. it was taken from a car with an E-9 paint code and put on my GT with an E-9 paintcode... the color is off by a very slim margin. you guys are probably thinking that it looks so off bc of the shadows on the hood... its really pretty close. part of my car has faded areas anyway from where the sun hits 24/7 so it really does match pretty well.. and you are right, it is a 3 stage and it does fade out

its like the first 2 coats are metallic and then the red goes over it. than clearcoat.. something like that

thanks for the compliments guys!! i would imagine 350 for this bumper being a decent deal but i didnt buy it... maybe MVR would know. include about another 250 for paint....
