The Ford oval on the rear deck has a hole also. When I bought my hood, I had all the emblems taken off and the holes filled. I was going to take the rear wing off but they said the holes were too big and they wouldn't warranty the holes on the deck lid.
I took mine off for a couple months, and it was easy for me cause my car is black. I just went to kragen and got some black plastic plugs (like the ones that hold your trunk liner in) and a tube of RTV to seal for water. It actually turned out pretty nice. But I had to ship my car, so I just put the wing back on.

Just needed to clean the surface really well cause the wing will leave this big ring of **** on your paint that looks retarded with if off.

Hey thanks alot guys that fobra guys a moron. All it is is a look, that sucks about the holes though im going to my body shop on my next 4 off and see what they say, if the holes on the trunk lid are too big then will I just gave to get a new lid?

Try to find a local sixxer with the same paint code to trade you trunk lids...they love to get the "gt look"
