IMO cold air intakes are for looks. I don't have one but often wondered how the air gets "cold" as it goes through a cold air kit. I'm not a physics major but I'd guess the only way they gain hp (if any at all)is because the larger diameter piping will cause the car to run slightly leaner by letting in more air... but when you tune a car you set the a/f anyways. It cracks me up when people tell me that if I put a cold air on my car it'll gain 15-20hp. I tell them to find another 2v making more hp than me NA and then convince me that it's because of their "cold air".

I would have a KN filter but i got scammed on ebay[:@]Its been a month and no filter or response
