Default Gauge Cluster install. did I do something wrong??

I bought the reverse glow gauge face from american muscle and installed it but when I start the car the oil pressure, fuel, temp, and battery all peg out and won't go back. I pulled the rpm, mph needle of with car running and set them where they should be. Also does anyone know where your suppose to connect the red wire to in the head light control??

if you pulled any needles off youll need to pull them back off at running temp to put them where they should go. The red wire can go to any 12V source hot when the parking lights+ are on

+1.. i did the reverse glow gauges from american muscle in my 6 cylinder.. looked nice. but i cant tell you how many times i had to take off my gauge cluster bc the pins fell off.. o yeah, and getting the needles to read correct was a b*tch. it annoyed me. it wasnt worth it IMO

That is exactly why I went ahead and bought an '01 Bullitt Cluster. I didn't like the factoryGT clusterand didn't want to fart with the overlays.

The Bullitt cluster is the best looking factory cluster going for the 99-04 cars. Well, except maybe the Cobra clusters, but I never have been a big fan of white faced gauges.
