most supras I see are non turbo. Most turbo ones arnt puting half of what there owners are saying they put down. However I did meet a guy at the gas station with a clean as hell stock bodied one, with a single T pushing upwards of 700... pretty nasty, but it does have "supra syndrome"... but then again who cars

 

i wish that was me! my cousin hasa 700+ hp single turbo supra. i vowed that one day i would smoke him. lol.

 

they are one of the best cars to mod in terms of dollars-to-power gains....but they arent unbeatable....

nice kill 2000GT.....The Supra at the shop I go to is in the low 600rwhp range....I think this spring/summer I MIIIGHT be able to hang....getting longtubes, OR prochamber, 12psi pulley, upgraded fuel system + retune....+ baby shot o nitrous....if I'm lucky, the nitrous wont blow apart my KB lol.....

guys would a GT with a vortech and basic supporting mods pushing around 360whp be enough to walk a c6 stock?

 

BASIC supporting mods? 360 to the wheels with a vortech is runningclose to12psi, which I would NOT run ifI had stock internals. If I had a centri blower, I'd keep it at 7-8psi until I forged the block, then I'd run like 12-14psi. Even then I'd be scared of blowing my motor up haha. I'm just chicken-shyt about busting a rod through the block or something.

But yeah, 360rwhp would keep up with a stock C6, but you'd have a good time walking him. Those LS2's are nasty. Corvettes have a sport tuned suspension and aerodynamics. An equal powered Mustang will not have the advantage over it.

 

Are you serious man 12 psi needed for 360whp?! Holy crap i think im going to biting off more than i can chew if i keep to my plan to vortech my car...

By supporting mods i mean header-back exhaust, 42 lb injectors, fuel pump, 90mm maf, etc those kind of things. Stock motor just upgraded external bolt ons. Oh yea and no IC either. With the MPH mongoose kit they advertise an easy 360 whp with just that kit on a pretty much stock gt. Thats 8 psi of boost i believe..

edit: yea i dunno man i keep seeing 400+whp on 12 psi vortech cars. I think 360 whp SHOULD be attainable with full bolt ons, fuel, and tune on a 8-9psi vortech car
