I have 414with 8psiand stock bottom end. Non-intercooled.
You must have cams and/or ported heads if you are running the Vortech in your avatar
Unported SVO heads. They are Gods gift to the SN95s.
Just the heads, I can't believe it!
If its SVO heads and PI cams I can see it pretty easy really (if the NPI intake doesn' thurt him that much). hell, I made 420 on the stock heads, the n/a cams, and a very mild tune.

Anything you can do to get over PI head's CFM ratings helps out a TON on a blown app. dyno might be a little happy but not much.

I know the SVO heads flow well, but that amount of rwhp on JUST a head swap and 8psi?

well, depends on what "8 PSI" is as well. My car is supposed to only make 8 PSI on the 3.60 pulley, but the autometer gauge reads right at 10 at redline.

I dunno. If it was 8 PSI, PI cams, SVO heads, and the PI intake maybe it could be done. If its NPI cams and NPI intake, its a really happy dyno.

V2sq, stock heads, 3.12 pulley, with a FMIC (31x12x4) 2.5 or 3" plumming making 11PSI at 6k

I have the PI intake, long tubes, and the npiComp cams as well.

My boost gaugereads 6 PSI of boostat redline. I know the Vortech is pushing 8 though, that's the one I bought.

I think from your post he was thinking you ment you had the stock NPI cams and NPI intake.

I can definatly see it, and much more, with your ported heads and aftermarket cams (they arn't NPI they are aftermarket NPI after all).

So far as your boost, what your guage reads is what your making. Your ported heads/cams combo is loosing boost (but making horsepower). the better the flow of the heads/cams etc the less boost you will make, even if you make more power.

03 gt 10psi intercooled P1sc,
Accufab plenum, BBK/Roush 75mm Tb,
90mm lightning MAF meter,
BBK o/r H pipe, FM 40's,
"SAFE" SCT tune by Swarr Auto = 380rwhp 375rwtq.. My only problem is traction. 3rd gear 3000rpms breaks loose 315/35/17's. I want a set of drag lite's so I can run a better set of tires in the rear+I think they look cool, but I can't afford them right now. So trying to race seems pointless.

If your busting the tires loose at 3000 RPM with 315s (or even 245s) your running a ****ty tire. Upgrade to a nitto, or even a basic good performance radial.
