you can also get a tubular k member and that will drop some weight off the front end and make it handle better in the process.
+1 on that. I forgot to add that into my post.

If you arent looking to spend money, you will have to just strip your car of all non-essential stuff.
Spare, jack and less gas in tank is the first.

Then stereo, amps, etc...
then doorpanels, seats, etc.
