Take thing out that you don't need. Rear seat, spare tire and jack, passenger seat, light weight race seat. Then you can get really crazy and take out the carpet, dash panels, door panels, until basically all you have is a seat, steering wheel, shifter, pedals and gauges. How far do you want to go?

He could go even more crazy. He could start swapping out his body panels for ones made of dry carbon fiber, plexiglass instead of regular glass, aluminum race parts instead of the steel or iron that some aftermarket companies use, light-weight rims etc. etc. The list goes on and on. lol

Spare, jack and rear seat delete will usually eliminate about 100 lbs.

It all depends on how far you want to go. The basics are removing the spare tire, jack, and rear seat. You have to also look at rearranging weight. Battery relocation for example. Then there is unsprung weight like wheels and tires. Lighter wheels and tires will help a lot too. In addition, there is a lighter driveshaft and flywheel. I have used a lighter flywheel and didnt really notice a drop in rpms or anything like you will hear from some. You can put in lighter seats. I think Summit makes some cheapish ones. They also make some really cheap wheels too that are light. The list goes on from there. You might also want to look at going on a diet hahahhahaa

CF hood is another thought. (Although, please for the love of God paint it hahahha)

you can also get a tubular k member and that will drop some weight off the front end and make it handle better in the process.
