UPDATE: king cobra clutch is in!
today we finished the job and i finally get to drive with my new clutch
im gonna have to get used to the new pedal feel. its alot stiffer than the stocker. its clicking a little but i imagine thats normal for a clutch that hasnt been broken in. as far as free play goes i have none so my next investment will be a steeda adjustable clutch cable kit. all in all im pretty satisfied. no more clutch slippage and no more annoying whine from the throw-out bearing.
thanks alot to everyone that helped me out on the forums. you guys got me through this without breaking something [&:]

RE: UPDATE: king cobra clutch is in!
well i was having problems with the exhaust bolts. alot of them were stuck but then we finally got a hold of an air gun and got those suckers out. after that everything went smoothly. i did however get cut by the gasket where the pipe screws into the exhaust manifold. aligning the thing wasnt as hard as i thought it would be. i thought we were gonna be trying for hours but it only took a few minutes.
oh and advice to anyone who does their clutch! watch that damn wiring harness! it got caught inbetween the bellhousing and the block. wasnt pretty. good thing nothing broke.
i wish i had more money on me cause i discovered my u-joints are worn. so thats gonna be the next major project.
