A friend of mine has a 99 gt vert with gears, exhaust and a stall. He was running a 200 shot dry on it for nearly two years before it finally took it's toll on the stock shortblock. Afterward he put another stock motor from ford back in it for whatever stupid reason and is running a 175 wet kit on it now with a good tune and has for a year now with no problems. He also has bigger injectors and fuel pump as well though. I don't know how much power he's puttin down but the car runs 7.8x in the 1/8th. I recommend you stick with no more than a 150 shot with a good tune though to be safe.
so your friends exhaust, geared, 175 shot mustang runs 7.8s in the 1/8th and my exhaust, geared, 100 shot surging nitrous mustang runs 7.9s?

LOL

Lol, yea that's pretty bad for that big of a shot(although I can't really talk about that myself), but that's what my car runs thru the 1/8 on motor

Stay with a 125 shot wet, take out 3 degrees of timing.

In the comments the GT owner said he ran a 11.1 [sm=bs.gif]
Yea, I noticed that. I asked the mach one owner what he made and he said 630 rwhp and runs a 10.8
I'd say they both ran those times using "ricer math" and have never even seen a track. They both drive like girls
