adding sub and amp to mach 460
well i did that, i spliced them into the Line-out converter and its not trasmitting a audio signal, i think im messing up something with the line-out converter, does the line-out converter need to be grounded seperately for it to work, i grounded it with my amp ground wire together so maybe this is the problem?
bestbuy dont know crap, they would do it the old fashioned way through rear speaker wires, mustang world does it through the data cable which is alot clearer than the rear speaker wires.
I have 2 12's in the trunk, but i heard it was a pita and pretty hard to install the amp so i just paid best buy like 100 bucks to do it with the stock headunit. They told me my aftermarket head unit wasn't as good as the stock head unit [:@] Oh and they didn't do it through my rear speakers for some reason they told me.

I've been thinking about putting my kenwood amp and the subs in my GT, but I dont think I want to deal with the hassle....
Is it as tough as it sounds?

I'm just curious as to how difficult it might be. I don't know alot about stereos, just the basics really.
My gf's brother has some friends that do alot of stereo work, but it's one of those deals where I'm not sure I want them digging and prying around inside my car, and doing wiring and stuff that runs teh whole length from up front back to the trunk.
Maybe I'll price out an install somewhere else where...well, on second thought, I was not too pleased with the way best buy installed everything into my '89 Grand Marquis back about 4 years ago....
