head swap question.
well my new 96 GT may be getting some PI heads pretty soon. the thing is....would it be better to swap for the PI heads or are the 2v SVO heads better?
from what i researched the SVO heads flow better than the PI heads. if what i found is correct then i assume a porting job would be better on the SVO heads thus providing better power? and also will the SVO head bumo my compression ratio like it does with the PI heads?
basically should i go with PI or SVO?

The svo heads are better, but idk if ford is making them anymore. I heard a while back that they were on back order indefinitly, but It wouldn't hurt to call and see. I don't think they bump the compression as high as a pi swap if they bump it at all.
i thought you posted here awhile ago saying you had PI Heads on your car already?? And yeah SVO heads are the best 2v heads out there, but the most expensive, hard to find, and they may need the SVO intake to mate with it if you don't want to do any port matching with the NPI intake.
i have a new GT now. sold the old one cause of all the **** it was giving me so i bought another and made sure it was bone stock. i found a place that sells the SVO head but they dont mention anything about an intake. when i look at the ports they have the tear drop shape just like the non-pi heads so i imagine its a direct fit.
just looking isn't going to do it, the ports are larger or something, i can't remember but they have a comparison of them in SHM 4.6 books and for some reason i think they are different in some way.
